I'm not entirely sure this will work - as you acknowledge, there will be queries where `nrow` is unknowable until we call `compute()`, and I don't think we want to be doing that. And while we might know the length of an Arrow Table, it gets trickier with a Dataset. My gut instinct is to err on the side of **not** supporting this as it'll require a high level of complexity to support and only support partially if it's possible, and I've not encountered any other user requests to support it.
