I imagine it's tricky without control over the data source. From what you've said though, it sounds like if you're expecting someone to have sent you float data when they should have sent integers, you could specify that column as a float in the schema and then cast to an integer. I'm going to close this ticket as the way that `schema()` works here is intentional and we're unlikely to change it, but if there's another reason why casting doesn't work for you, I'm happy to discuss it some more here and see if we can find you a better workaround. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
