Update here: I filed a larger Epic to track all the work that seems to be going on with statistics as it was getting pretty overwhelming to keep it all straight: https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/issues/8227 My current conclusion is the current state of the `Statistics` code in DataFusion makes further work on this ticket somewhat intractable for awhile. Thus, I plan to work on https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/issues/8229 and https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/issues/8228 first and then come back here -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
