@devinjdangelo set the feature `allow_single_file_parallelism` to false by default in https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/pull/8854 and added test coverage so this is no longer a "regression" (instead it is a bug in a feature that is not enabled by default) Let's leave this issue open until the code is sorted but I think it is much less severe now -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
