Hi @baslat, it'd be good for us to look into your issue too.
I know you just unbroke your environment, but would you be able to try
reproducing your issue again and filing a new issue with more details and
output? Before installing R, run `Sys.setenv(ARROW_R_DEV=TRUE)`, then run
`install.packages("arrow")`. You said "build the latest {arrow}" so I'm also
wondering if you're using Homebrew R (`brew install r`) instead of CRAN R
(`brew install --cask r`). The former is generally not useful for anyone while
the latter is.
