With my `arrow-rs` user (not maintainer) hat on, I woud like to call for this: Examples: IN DataFusion we had several features sit for 2+ months downstream in DataFusion (for example https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/pull/8693 from @Jefffrey ) waiting on a release that contained a non breaking API change).
