OK, updated this PR after the registry was added (https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/40699). Essentially this PR now only tests to the new capabilities on the Python side, since no other code is needed now to get this working, except that we need to ensure libarrow_cuda was loaded (to register the device) for attempting to import data through the device interface. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
