Right. I'd only want us to do what I suggest if it was nearly free (not sure if can be made free). Adding an argument to `write_dataset` that changes its behavior, while useful, doesn't feel quite right. For uniformity's sake, I'm inclined to follow @thisisnic's lead and follow the tidyverse principle here (return the input dataset).
