Hi @tomjemmett, thanks for the report. This looks related to https://github.com/apache/arrow/issues/38724. As pointed out there, duckdb handles this better. Is this what you see with your Python example though? ``` species species=Adelie 152 species=Gentoo 124 species=Chinstrap 68 ``` Based on that, I'd say the Python version isn't quite working fine since the values would ideally not be prefixed with `species=`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
