On closer inspection: actually `batches` is not an `Arrow.Table` — it's a
`Vector{Arrow.Table}`. Considering that, the added layer of nesting in the
output schema makes more sense. Sorry for any confusion here — the Julia
implementation of Arrow is very new to me.
