Hi,
Can this issue be also fixed for pyarrow 2.0.0?
We use this package for Intel sdc and cannot migrate to pyarrow 3.0.0
version right now. Currently this is blocking us.
Simpler reproducer is:
python -m pip install pyarrow==2.0.0 numpy
python
>>> import pyarrow
>>> pyarrow.from_numpy_dtype(int)
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "pyarrow/types.pxi", line 2544, in pyarrow.lib.from_numpy_dtype
