Hi @itsjunetime -- what is the next step for this PR? Both @tustvold and I have suggested various ways to break it into parts that are more easy to review and the parts you were able to split off we got in - https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/6725 - https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/6707 This PR has now accumulated a bunch of conflicts and I am not sure what to do with it now. To reiterate, I don't feel comfortable / able to review this PR in its current form . That isn't to say I can't read the code, but it is beyond my ability to review it in pieces and verify it won't cause some issue / regression due to the number of things it changes.
