Thanks a lot, @Dandandan . Note that we are getting the same performance
as if we would perform this via a `Vec<bool>` (on the benches on the example
repo).
A Reddit comment was in the same direction as yours, and ended up with "use
SIMD". So, I think that we may be on the edge of what we can do.
