Good catch on the ADBC `SELECT TOP 1000000`... The base R `head(1000000)` SQL translation done by `dbplyr` actually translates it to `LIMIT 1000000`, but I re-ran the benchmarking after realizing this last week and got very similar results to the above. The data types included in the widest data set that I tried (75 columns) included a mix of floats, integers, strings / varchars, dates, and logical / booleans. To be safe, I'll re-run my benchmarking this week and share the outputs here with the ADBC code revised to end with `LIMIT`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
