Thanks @zhuqi-lucas -- I took the liberty of pushing several commits directly to this branch. I tried to keep them independent so you can see what I changed: use in memory buffer to avoid file IO duirng benchmarking, updated docs, some refactoring I also added benchmarks for the sync reader as well -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
