To be clear, the improvement in #383 is great and handles many other transient errors very nicely 👌 I am just thinking that the "timeout" maybe needs to be handled specially > I think we should probably add a TransferManager style abstraction for people looking to download large assets, infinitely retrying a request IMO is problematic This is also an interesting idea -- however, it if is a separate structure then people need to decide when to use it (which depends on the remote object size and the network speed 🤔 ) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
