   well that's just awful....
   
   okay how about the following:
   
   
`(windows|osx|linux|unknown)-(amd64|arm64|x86|arm|s390x|unknown)[-musl|-mingw]`
   
   so for example, you could have `windows-amd64-mingw` or if you used msvc it 
would just be `windows-amd64`
   
   etc.
   
   what do you think?
