I don't know why it was bundled originally; maybe there wasn't a package that could be referenced at the time? Dependencies are annoying, and this one is both small and reliably stable so it feels like the bundling cost is pretty low. But more importantly, I'd like to continue supporting .NET 4.6.2 until it reaches end-of-life in January 2027 or until there's some other compelling reason to do so, and the official FlatBuffers package doesn't support 4.6.2 very well. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
