I've been able to test back to `apache-arrow-11.0.0.dev` (7f6c5aeb5388936709642e48aed6419d1e2144a6), and it also fails there. The older versions don't build cleanly for me, and I don't think there's a point in trying to fix that anyway, given we're already 3 years back — I think it's safe to say the problem always (potentially) existed.
