@alamb yes this is exactly what I had in mind (at least the impl for Field). However, I only recently realized, there is no way for me to utilize this impl, if I want to keep compatibility of `serde_arrow` with the currently supported versions of arrow (currently `arrow=37` to `arrow=56`).
