In [this](https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/8790/commits/b61aae006b9adca254aeee687de7122bb31b11b2) commit I also augmented the tests in `ffi_stream.rs` to actually check for exported/imported metadata, instead of dealing with a metadata-less schema.
