Status update: 1. All that we plan to complete before 0.13.0 is refactoring `delete`: https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs-object-store/pull/549 2. @crepererum is planning to see if there is a way to get the old (inconsistent) `delete` behavior with the new (consistent) API in case someone was relying on it 3.
