@supermacro I have a PR that addresses similar. I have a couple draft PRs across the different new data types. I have gotten pretty busy lately so haven't had a chance to pull in all the learnings I gained from adding UTF8View and BinaryView support, but I can plan on doing that this week. There might be something useful in my implementation, or if you'd rather wait until I have it updated, that is fine too. Let me know if I can help. I used AI minimally in my PRs, mainly to ensure the protocol was being correctly represented by cross-referencing the C++ implementations, but I'm sure both mechanisms would converge onto a similar outcome. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
