Thanks for the very prompt attention to my report. Whilst is is possible to manually create a full email including headers using a template, it is difficult to ensure that the correct syntax is used. Headers have special rules for quoting and folding, and must only contain ASCII characters. It would be easy to break the headers by a change to the template. I think the template should be used for the email body only, and the headers added by the email library. The library knows how to translate header values if necessary. Also, if headers need to be adjusted in future, only the code needs to be updated, rather than having to find and update all the templates.
