Further: looking at when the [`test-r-macos-as-cran` job was run](https://github.com/ursacomputing/crossbow/actions/runs/22100675676/job/63869231534) on #49298 it actually was running the old version of this test (note that there's a single job) which means it had code from before we added [the new job in #49221](https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/49221/changes#diff-57d1441e170e0560a6b7b2bbd4b641d4be7d62fdabbac20451c6c974e2f16053R63). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
