That's a reasonable idea. Though if we're going to add the generalized metadata API it may not be worth trying to patch GetObjects (unless there are consumers/producers benefiting from it? @zeroshade perhaps this applies to Snowflake?) (At the time of the original API, there was no run-length encoding flag.
