@rouault , i would like to work on this issue, if u r not working on this one.. u can assign me.... My approach would be to trace the JsonWriter symbol references introduced by the recent RapidJSON → simdjson migration, reproduce the failure with ARROW_JSON=OFF, identify the incorrect dependency/conditional compilation path, and add a regression test to ensure Parquet builds and links correctly with JSON disabled.
