# Which issue does this PR close? - Related to https://github.com/apache/parquet-site/issues/175 - Related to https://github.com/apache/parquet-site/pull/195 - Closes #NNN. # Rationale for this change @sdf-jkl created a scirpt to measure ALP performance (see here) https://github.com/apache/parquet-site/pull/195#issuecomment-5223205213 I have been playing around with it and then also wanted to make a script to convert the original dataset into parquet files so putting up a PR so it is easier to see # What changes are included in this PR? 1.
