I found the C level backtrace in the CI logs. It shows the crash happens on a separate native thread , not the main Ruby thread and the call chain goes through glib2's `process_request` to gobject-introspection's `rb_gi_callback_invoke` , `rb_funcallv_scope`, then crashes. this suggests it might be a threading issue, a GObject callback being invoked from a background thread without properly acquiring Ruby's GVL, which could be a bug in how `gobject-introspection` or glib2, invokes Ruby callbacks from `non-Ruby-registered` threads. I don't have a macOS machine to reproduce locally, but I had like to dig into `rb_gi_callback_invoke` in the gobject introspection gem source to check the thread safety handling. does this direction right to you? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
