I found this thread on r-pkg-devel: https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-package-devel/2024q4/011309.html which eventually links to an existing gcc bug: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=117457. @paleolimbot re-submitted with the [static const removal idea from above](https://github.com/paleolimbot/arrow-adbc/commit/1a84b825fa133b4f8bf0e87c4c1089faabba18b8) but that didn't fix it. I think the only thing we could do is not use that regex or not use a regex at all there or talk to CRAN. @paleolimbot messaged on the [Zulip thread](https://arrow-dev.zulipchat.com/#narrow/channel/489218-adbc/topic/CRAN.20removals.20for.20adbcrivermanager.2C.20adbcpostgresql.2C.20adbcsqli/with/623634497) that they've sent a message to CRAN so we'll see what they say. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
