Hi, @Rich-T-kid I've opened draft PR #10985 with a `StreamEncoder::encode_to` prototype using `std::io::Write` and [local benchmark results](https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/pull/10985#issuecomment-5642914637) comparing it with `encode` + `write` and `StreamWriter`.
