Simplified in dde8da7: two cases per builder test, no null-count/validity permutations, and the original #7124 IPC reproduction. The regressions still panic before the fix and pass afterward. The intentionally malformed fixture cannot run with dependency `force_validate`; current IPC CI does not enable it.
