at the risk of scope creep I think its worth introducing a couple things in this PR 1. two new methods on the `inprogressArrays` trait that will make it easier to avoid copies with `push_interleave()`/`push_take()` 2. 1 new method `push_interleave()` in batchCoalescer 3. new benchmarks for this new method on batchCoalescer follow up PR will implement 1. optimized `push_take` for primitives 2. optimized `push_interleave` for primitves 3. optimized `push_take` for utf8View 4. optimized `push_interleave` for utf8View ... fsb same idea we will keep the default path for non-specialized arrays. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
