   We need a fix that goes beyond fixing the case when len = 0. As i mention, 
what happens if len is not zero? We'll still hit the same panic.
   
   Regarding me calling it AI spam, its based on observing from your github 
profile that there have apparently been 480 PRs opened across 107 repositories 
in the span of around two weeks, which makes me suspect proper consideration 
hasnt been given to every single one (thats a lot of PRs! across a wide range 
of repositories)

   I agree, but it would have been better to comment on the original PR instead 
of raising the exact same PR again which gives the impression the previous 
feedback was simply ignored.
   
   I apologize if this seems blunt/harsh but we are seeing lots of PRs from 
purely LLM agent accounts which pushes essentially all of the burden onto the 
maintainers to properly review code without any guarantee this filters back to 
a human
