### Describe the bug Recent nightly Cargo and rustdoc report two sets of redundant metadata/link warnings on the current workspace: - `cargo::redundant_homepage`: `homepage` duplicates `repository` (`https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs`) in the workspace package metadata and crate manifests, including the two standalone PyArrow test crates. - `rustdoc::redundant_explicit_links`: five links in the `arrow-avro` reader and writer module documentation specify targets that rustdoc can infer from their labels. The rustdoc warnings make the "Rustdocs are clean" CI check fail because that job treats warnings as errors. An [example failed job](https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs/actions/runs/36667872747/job/109736340496) shows the `arrow-avro` warnings. ### To reproduce Using `rustc 1.101.0-nightly (5c543b0b8 2026-09-29)`: ```sh RUSTDOCFLAGS='-Dwarnings --enable-index-page -Zunstable-options' \ cargo +nightly doc --document-private-items --no-deps --workspace --all-features ``` ### Expected behavior The workspace documentation build passes without these warnings. Crates should keep the repository URL in `repository`, omit the duplicate `homepage`, and use inferred intra-doc link targets where rustdoc can resolve them. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
