@Jefffrey, you are right about HTTP/HTTPS extended locations too. My earlier patch and fixtures incorrectly treated those advertisements as gRPC servers. In 41643b6 the fixtures use canonical gRPC locations, and advertised HTTP download URLs are no longer passed to DoGet or given Flight credentials. Unsupported locations are skipped when a supported gRPC or explicitly reusable connection exists; otherwise the CLI reports an unsupported-location error, including HTTP endpoints without tickets. Direct GET downloads, IPC/content-type handling and separate authentication remain outside this CLI patch and need a follow-up. I corrected the description and changed Closes to Part of #6487 to make the scope explicit.
