One other related point: simdjson has an upstream fix for an empty-input issue in `truncated_bytes()` ([simdjson#2889](https://github.com/simdjson/simdjson/pull/2889)), which is currently targeted for simdjson 5.0.2. We're working around this issue in [#51038](https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/51038). Once simdjson 5.0.2 is released and we fix the `__*__` definitions on our side, we can bump simdjson and pick up this fix as well. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
