# Which issue does this PR close? - Closes #11383 - Relates to #10082 # Rationale for this change The format definitions bundled with arrow-rs have drifted from upstream Arrow. In particular, the Flight SQL protobuf definitions did not include the optional `is_update` field on `ActionCreatePreparedStatementResult`. # What changes are included in this PR? - Sync the existing FlatBuffers and Flight protobuf definitions with upstream Arrow. - Regenerate the Arrow IPC and Flight Rust bindings. - Re-export the new Flight session messages and update prepared-statement constructors for the added field. # Are these changes tested? The existing Arrow IPC and Flight tests exercise the regenerated bindings. No new behavior tests are included; this PR updates definitions and generated code. A focused test for the `is_update` behavior remains in #10082. # Are there any significant user-facing changes? `ActionCreatePreparedStatementResult` now has a public `is_update: Option<bool>` field. Downstream code constructing this type with a struct literal must initialize the new field. The new Flight session messages are also publicly re-exported. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
