Thanks @kou — I tested this in my fork here: https://github.com/limadog9/arrow/pull/1 The test covered both paths: * successful automatic assignment, where the bot confirmed the issue was assigned to the PR creator * failed automatic assignment, where the bot correctly fell back to asking the contributor to request assignment from a committer/collaborator I also updated this PR to use the project PR template. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
