@pitrou I'm going through old `Type: bug` issues. This segfault in `ParquetFileReader::metadata()` was reported against Arrow 8.0.0 bundled inside `tensorflow_io`, with no file or standalone reprex, and the snippet ignores the `Status` returned by `FileReaderBuilder::Open()` before calling `Build()`, which would crash exactly here if the S3 open failed; nobody has commented in almost four years.
