@kou I'm going through old `Type: bug` issues. This one turned out to be a c-ares regression (c-ares/c-ares#571) in the conda-forge libgrpc 1.58 build that pyarrow 13.0.0 linked against; it was fixed upstream in October 2023, conda-forge has long since rebuilt, and `GRPC_DNS_RESOLVER=native` was the workaround meanwhile, so there's nothing to change in Arrow.
