ddupg opened a new issue, #895:
URL: https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs-object-store/issues/895

   The RAT check on #894 fails during Python setup, before the license audit
runs:

   ```text
   The version '3.8' with architecture 'x64' was not found for Ubuntu 26.04.
   ```

   [Failed CI
job](https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs-object-store/actions/runs/40885681515/job/123488619474)

   The workflow uses `ubuntu-latest`, which now assigns Ubuntu 26.04 runners,
while `python-version` is still set to `3.8`.

   Python is only used to parse and filter RAT’s XML report. The helper uses
standard-library modules and has no Python 3.8-specific requirement.

   We propose updating `python-version` to `'3.13'`, which is available on
Ubuntu 26.04, and running the full RAT check to verify compatibility.
