@alamb we moved it to `parquet-variant` just now to avoid pulling `parquet-variant-compute` to datafusion just to add the df ext type, but now I'm thinking wouldn't it be better to move it to `arrow-schema/src/extension/canonical`? This way there's no need to pull parquet-variant at all and the ext type itself doesn't seem to depend on anything in either variant crate. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
