@andygrove @Dandandan @jorgecarleitao @alamb @Jimexist this PR is now ready for review. We are now able to pass both tpch-7 and tpch-8. I filed https://github.com/apache/arrow-datafusion/issues/549 to track compound column support as a fast follow task since this PR is already very large and keeps growing every time I rebase on top of the latest master.
