I'm not too sure of why it is happening myself either. I suppose there could be an incompatibility between pyarrow and the version of gcc I am using. In the future, I may try to build and install arrow from source to avoid this problem. I'm going to keep this topic closed as I'm not going to be in a position to debug to that granularity in the near future, and I currently can operate with the arrays in numpy. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
