That being said, I think we should announce something about this in our 6.0.0 release notes. Since it has now merged I think our release notes could include an announcement and description of the new project. @nealrichardson does that seem reasonable? Unless I misunderstand, we already have a 6.0.0 RC and this is not in it. I agree it's worth an announcement but I don't think it makes to include it in the 6.0.0 release announcement since it's not in the release. @JayjeetAtGithub would you be interested in writing a blog post about this (which we could publish after the release is out, noting that this isn't in 6.0.0 but is on master)?
