Just FYI while several releases installed fine (though some required the "double installation" to be functional) installation of CRAN package arrow 6.0.2 once again simply fails on both Ubuntu 21.04 (still supported by Canonical) and Ubuntu 21.10 (current release). Version 5.0.2, and the preceding releases, installed. It is still the only CRAN package I every encountered that fails to installs on standard Linux systems. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
