Yes, I guess in the 'I could wrap `script /tmp/log/txt` around it' sense. Thanks for looking into `ccache`. That did actually work for a few releases (circa Arrow 2 to 5) but currently _something_ is amiss and I can't make progress debugging it either (so on that box Arrow dependencies will not get tested for lack of buildability). The vexing thing is that I _did_ install all (CRAN) dependencies so the seg.fault must come from one of the system libraries used the wrong. Now, from $dayjob I know that _e.g._ `curl` can be funky w.r.t. to `ssl` so it could be one of those. Long story short: print out the exact command you would want to run for the log you want to see. I usually get even glancing at your 'arrow on linux' vignette (suggestion: a simple table of all set-able env vars may help). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
