Thank you for filling this and sorry for a delay in responding. I've not been able to reproduce this yet on Linux. I will try on a Mac later. Is there any chance you are able to create a core file? Or to run python with gdb and get a backtrace? That will help get started with this sort of issue. How are you installing pyarrow today?
