https://github.com/googleapis/google-cloud-go/issues/11283 has been resolved, so we can now get rid of the exclude statements. These cause `go run github.com/apache/beam/sdks/v2/go/examples/wordcount@latest --input "gs://apache-beam-samples/shakespeare/kinglear.txt" --output counts` to currently fail in a clean terminal with: ``` go: github.com/apache/beam/sdks/v2/go/examples/wordcount@latest (in github.com/apache/beam/sdks/v2@v2.64.0): The go.mod file for the module providing named packages contains one or more exclude directives. It must not contain directives that would cause it to be interpreted differently than if it were the main module. ``` To fix this, I did the following: 1) Removed the excludes from the go.mod file manually 2) Ran the following commands: ``` go get -u google.golang.org/grpc go get -u cloud.google.com/go/storage go mod tidy ``` ------------------------ Thank you for your contribution!
